Meet our musicians

Kim Williams, Violin

(Dr.) Kim is a violin and viola switch hitter. She's a classically-trained violinist but loves all forms of fiddling and related instruments (saws, auto harps, amplified string instruments, etc.). Kim studies with Joseph Maile of the Telegraph Quartet and plays in the Z Quartet and the Redwood Symphony. When Kim isn't musician-ing, she leads the biology team at Kodiak Sciences.

Chris Yeh, Violin

Chris plays violin in the Z Quartet as well as the Redwood Symphony. He studies violin with Clara Kim and serves on the boards of the Telegraph Quartet and the SoCal Chamber Music Workshop. In his spare time, Chris builds software companies in Silicon Valley.

Marty Lee, Viola

Marty is a long-time member of the string-playing community in the SF Bay Area. He studies with Charlton Lee of the Del Sol Quartet and plays with Master Sinfonia as well as the Z Quartet. Marty, who retired after a long, successful run with Lockheed Martin, can often be found traveling the world these days with his wife Anita.

Amy Brooks, Cello

Amy is a cellist in the Z Quartet and also plays with Master Sinfonia and Harmonia California. Amy studies with Kathryn Bates of the Del Sol Quartet and regularly performs in the SF Bay Area. In addition to her playing career, Amy is a long-time member of the program management team at Apple Computer.
